The 95.3 MNC Weekend Community Calendar is presented by The Elkhart Public Library:
- “One Night in Memphis” will be at the Lerner Theatre on Saturday night with over 90 minutes of country, gospel, and rock and roll tributes. They’re the number one tribute to Presley, Perkins, Lewis and Cash. The show starts at 8 and you can get your tickets on the Lerner website.
- The Elkhart Public Library is hosting an event for kids on Saturday from 11 until 12:30. Join them at the Downtown library for How To Catch a Turkey. They’ll be playing turkey-themed games with prizes and will be reading stories about thankfulness.
- The South Bend Civic Theatre presents Better Homes: The Play this weekend. The play explores the Great Migration and the role systemic racial injustice has played in the South Bend community. Shows will be tonight and tomorrow at 7:30 and on Sunday at 2 p.m.
- Looking to get started on holiday shopping? The Gingerbread Lane Market presented by Ginger Valley is happening this weekend. They’ll have food vendors, artisan vendors, music, bakers, visits with Santa, and much much more. It’s happening tomorrow from 9 until 4 and on Sunday from 10 to 3.
- Art 4 presents “The Lightening Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical” this weekend at the Leighton Auditorium. The musical is adapted from the best-selling book by Rick Riordan and is expected to be a hit for the entire family. Shows are at 7:30 tonight and at 2 p.m. tomorrow and Sunday.
- This weekend is the Fall Mishawaka Makers Market with plenty of handmade goods. Tomorrow and Sunday from noon until 6 you can head to the Mishawaka Amphitheatre to shop from a variety of artists and creators.
- Looking for good food and a fun contest? The Michiana Walleye Association is hosting its Chili Cook Off Contest. It’s open to the public and is an all-you-can-eat event. It’s $5 per person and $2 for those under 12. Toppings will be provided, and each paying adult will receive tickets to vote for their favorite chili.
- The Goshen Theatre has a free movie event for families on Sunday. They’ll be showing Addams Family Values at 3 p.m. Concessions will be available for purchase.
