Berrien County Parks looking to collect funds for new Silver Beach playground

Fundraising for a new playground at St. Joseph’s Silver Beach is going well, but still working on reaching its goal.
Berrien County Parks Director Jill Adams told WSJM that the campaign is at 72 percent of the goal, which is 1 point 2-5 million dollars.
The county received a state grant of 850 thousand dollars, so they’re looking to collect another 400 thousand dollars to create make the new vision a reality in time for the summer of 2025.
It’s hoped that the fundraising goal can be reached by the end of the year. You can contribute to the effort at berriencounty.org by searching for the Silver Beach Playground Project.
