Whether you’re planning to shop in stores or scroll online for your Black Friday shopping, the Better Business Bureau is warning you to be careful.

They’ve offered some tips for avoiding scams during Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales.

They say you should always research before you buy. If the deal looks too good to be true, it probably is.

So, make sure websites are secure before providing your payment information, and use secure and traceable transactions and payment methods.

The BBB says it’s better to use credit cards while shopping online. And, whether you’re shopping in-store or online, always be sure to check the return policy and warranty information.
