A 19-year-old sustained injuries in an early morning shooting in Elkhart.

Authorities responded to a report of shots fired in the vicinity of Delaware Street and Wagner Avenue at approximately 2:20 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 26.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a woman with a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
