The City of South Bend will begin a second round of leaf pickup on Thursday, Nov. 30.
This will be the final pass of leaf collection throughout the city.
Crews will collect leaves from neighborhoods, street by street. Residents can also view the City’s real-time Leaf Pickup Tracker at www.southbendin.gov/leafpickup for the anticipated pickup dates for the second round.
Residents will not have to call to request a pickup.
All dates on the schedule are weather permitting and can change due to snowfall or extreme temperatures this time of the year.
Leaf pickup began with the first round starting on Oct. 30 and will run through the end of the year as weather allows. Crews collect all leaves in one zone before beginning in the next. Leaf pickup in a particular zone can sometimes take several days before moving to the next zone.
