It’s time to put on your ugliest sweater and head to downtown Elkhart this weekend.

The Ugly Sweater Run and contest is happening on Saturday starting at 8:30 a.m. at the NIBCO Water and Ice Park.

It will kickoff Winterfest, which includes breakfast with Santa, ice skating, sales, letters to Santa, and a parade and tree lighting ceremony.

All proceeds go to the Elkhart Education Foundation.

Awards will be given to the top three overall runners and awards for the ugliest sweater.
