Three people have been sentenced in Berrien County for having a firearm in their vehicles, in three different cases.

36-year-old Zackary Crockett Jr., 33-year-old Joseph Lane, and 42-year-old Angel Wilson all pleaded guilty to possession of a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle.

Crockett was sentenced to five days in jail as well as fines for his September incident.

Lane was sentenced to seven day in jail for his June incident. Wilson was sentenced to seven days in jail for his August incident.

Leader Publications reports that all three were told by the judge that owning a firearm is a privilege and responsibility and that they need to be aware of the rules involved. Amelia Lee, MNC News.
