Elkhart woman dies after being found unconscious in home

An Elkhart woman who was found unconscious along with two family members in a home in Franklin Street, last month, has died.
According to the Elkhart County Coroner, Elizabeth Howell died of natural causes in the hospital.
The cause of the deaths for 74-year-old Garry Dewayne Howell Senior and 50-year-old Garry D. Howell are still pending, though investigators say they were not shot and did not die of an overdose.
Police were called for a welfare check after packages began to pile up outside the home.
