Second District City Councilor Brian Thomas is retiring. He’s served on the Elkhart Common Council for 20 years.

He announced that he is retiring in 2022 and did not sign up for reelection this year. He says he is looking forward to continuing his volunteer activities.

His last council meeting was on Monday, December 18, where he was given an award.
