Upton touts a “unity ticket” for ’24 that could beat Trump and Biden, but has no names yet

Long-serving, former Congressman Fred Upton says a “unity ticket” could beat both Biden and Trump at the polls in November.

But the question remains, who would feature on that ticket? The No Labels group plans on competing in all 50 states, but its organizers have yet to announce a candidate.

Bridge Michigan reports that there are a number of prominent Democrats expressing concern that a unity ticket could end up benefitting Trump. No Labels is an organization that has traditionally worked to support bipartisanship in Congress, but has now turned its focus on the 2024 presidential race. They have already secured ballot access in at least a dozen states — but they still have no candidates.

Upton says he’s not interested, but has mentioned names like former Utah Governor John Huntsman and former U.S. Representative Liz Cheney.

From the French, partisan = patriot, bi-partisan = traitor…playing both sides.
