Man, 21, charged with murder in connection with 2020 South Bend shooting death

A murder charge has been filed against Amari Lenoir, 21, in connection with the 2020 shooting death of Dorian Harris, 47, on Queen Street in South Bend.

According to court documents, an argument between Lenoir and Harris ended with gunshots.

Despite Lenoir’s claim of being in Texas at the time, the investigation indicates he was present in South Bend when the shooting happened and departed for Texas days later.

Multiple witnesses also identified Lenoir as the shooter.
