Indiana lawmakers are considering a bill to define antisemitism in an effort to protect Jewish Hoosiers.
House Bill 1002 went before the Indiana House Education Committee this week- with 45 people testifying on the proposed measure.
It was passed by the committee and will next move on to the full House for consideration.
If passed, the bill aims to define what antisemitism is to protect students from discrimination based on religion in schools.
