The City of Elkhart is seeking public feedback regarding the revitalization of Walker Park’s playground.
City leaders recently held two meetings to engage with the community. They also launched an online survey to gather input as plans are made for the playground redesign.
The survey received 200 responses and the committee will use the feedback gathered to determine the best course of action.
Jamison Czarnecki, Superintendent of Elkhart City Parks and Recreation, stated that the feedback and the committee’s recommendations will be used to create the playground.
The goal is to have the playground ready by summer.
