Heat out, burst pipe leads to closure of County-City building, courthouse

(Spencer Marsh/95.3 MNC)

The heat has gone out in the County-City Building in downtown South Bend, which also affects the Courthouses and the Law Building.

Repairs are being made but the temperature in the buildings was estimated to be in the low 50’s.

First, a burst pipe in the lobby of Courthouse 3 led to the closing of that building.

The lack of heat now requires a complete closing of the downtown South Bend buildings.
