Bristol man injured, cited after colliding with skid loader

A Bristol man who police say was traveling too fast for weather conditions was hospitalized after crashing into a skid loader.

The collision happened around 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at County Road 35 and County Road 126.

Police say the 62-year-old man was traveling southbound at the intersection and failed to yield the right of way the skid loader as it tried to make a turn.

The Bristol man suffered a laceration to the face and was transported for medical attention.

The skid loader sustained wheel damage. The driver refused medical attention.

The Bristol man was cited for failing to wear a seatbelt, speeding too fast for the weather/road conditions, and failing to yield the right of way.
