An Elkhart woman is facing charges of battery after she allegedly attacked staff members at an area hospital.

EPD were called to the hospital Saturday afternoon, where Whitley Hodges allegedly threw a trashcan, attacked a staff member, struck a security guard, spit in another staff member’s eye, hit yet another staff member, and then scratched a fourth.

Formal charges are being considered by the Elkhart County Prosecutor’s Office.
