The clerk at the Rebel gas station on Toledo Road in Elkhart was robbed at gunpoint Friday morning.

The suspects were arrested just a few hours later. ABC 57 reports that shortly after 6 a.m., Elkhart Police Department officers were sent to the gas station for a robbery in progress.

The clerk stated that a male entered the building, conducted a transaction and then demanded money and showed a handgun.

In fear for her life, the clerk gave the suspect money from the register, and the suspect fled in a dark Kia Optima.

Around 11 a.m. officers located the vehicle with two males inside. The driver, Gerson Valencia, was arrested and booked on a preliminary charge of Armed Robbery.

The passenger, who attempted to run away but was detained after a brief pursuit, was identified as Bladimir Morales and was booked on preliminary charges of Theft of a Firearm and Resisting Law Enforcement.

What’s their immigration status? Facts like that matter just as much as their names do.

Do they have that “spark of divinity” that Pelosi was yammering about?

Thank you Calamity Joe Chaos for this local hazard. The only thing worse would be Dopey Joe sniffing the clerks hair. And our wonderful republicans cannot manage to impeach the lying slimy DHS Secretary.
