A man was sentenced to 10 years at the Indiana Department of Corrections on Thursday.

47-year-old Andre Shepherd faces charges of possession of cocaine and unlawful possession of a firearm after police executed a search warrant at his home in November.

According to the Goshen News, Shepard confirmed to police that he sold cocaine, crack and marijuana.

Police found over 1800 grams of marijuana, over $7000 in cash, about 64 grams of cocaine, a rifle and more during the search of the house.

Shepard initially faced several charges but pleaded down, having charges for dealing in marijauna and maintaining a common nuisance dismissed.

He will undergo a drug treatment program, and, once that program is complete, a modification of his sentencing may be considered.
