New Medical Magnet Program for students between SB Schools and IUSB

A new career path program is being planned between the South Bend Schools and IUSB.

The new Medical Magnet Program will focus on exercise science, and will begin at Washington High School. Professors at IUSB tell WSBT that all South Bend school students will be eligible to apply.

The students in the program will have extra classes that are focused on hands-on career-based training. These students will be taking real college courses on IUSB campuses.

The courses are starting in the fall.
