18-year-old arrested in connection with attempted murder

An 18-year-old man wanted on a warrant for attempted murder has been arrested.
The Warrants Division of the St. Joseph County Police Department, in collaboration with the U.S. Marshals Task Force and the Indiana State Police, apprehended Darion Devries, 18, on Friday, March 1.
Devries had been sought on an outstanding warrant related to attempted murder.
In November 2023, Darion  He was formally charged with attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder, aggravated battery posing a substantial risk of death, and battery by means of a deadly weapon.
He’s currently detained in the St. Joseph County Jail.
