A house fire in South Bend, earlier this year, took the lives of six children, but, there’s still no official cause for the fire.

Investigators were at the LaPorte Avenue home, once again, this week, to figure out why the fire happened.

Private investigation firms, fire and explosion consultants, forensic investigators, and the state fire marshal were at the home, six weeks after the fire.

Officials say the fire is not suspicious and that they do not think foul play was involved.
