Police in LaPorte County are investigating a deadly crash. It happened around 3:50 a.m. on Monday, March 18, in the area of County Road 1000 North and Frontage Road.

Investigators say the driver of a 2012 Range Rover was traveling eastbound, left the road and traveled into a ditch. The vehicle crashed into several trees, then overturned.

The driver was found inside the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Toxicology tests results are pending. The name of the victim has not been released.
