Running from officers and trying to drown one of their K-9s are just some of the crimes for which a man and woman in Steuben County have been charged.
Police went to a property in Scott Township on Monday afternoon, after learning that the two were trespassing. But, the two soon ran into the nearby woods.
K-9 Klara was eventually sent after them, so the woman then surrendered.
Klara bit the man, though, and police say he grabbed her collar and tried to drown her in a creek.
Klara survived and is expected to recover.
