South Bend Police reveal new bounce house

(Photo supplied/South Bend Police Department)

The South Bend Police Department has a new attraction you may see at some of their cookouts and community events. It’s a giant “bounce house” designed in the look and shape of a police cruiser. Chief Scott Ruszkowski says they invested in the bounce house because he got tired of the South Bend Fire Department stealing their thunder at community events with their water cannons, big ladders and fancy rigs.

Watch the video below to see the Chief take a turn in the bounce house:

On a recent morning when I wasn’t listening as closely as usual to my favorite radio station, I believe I heard Laura Smith interview with Tony Rutten. I believe that he ran for PHM School Board in the past and is campaigning for another office now. I believe I heard that he takes special interest in the new law that can freeze property tax increases for seniors, and I thought I heard a campaign website mentioned. I have a question I’d like to ask him about the property tax relief if I could find the website. Thanks.

Andy Rutten is a good person, but you might want to check his ties to Amy Drake before you give him your vote. If you don’t know about Amy Drake yet, check out Clifton French’s site (he is a common guest on Casey’s show).
