The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect after a shooting.

Deputies responded to the 30000 block of Longnecker Road shortly before 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, and found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

He was airlifted to a hospital and his condition is unknown.

The suspect reportedly left the scene, and police believe the shooting was not random and that there seems to be no ongoing threat to the public.
