Drinking and fighting landed two Goshen men behind bars.

Police were called around 9:20 p.m. on Monday, May 13, to the 400 block of East Lincoln Avenue on the report a man being battered by another man.

Both parties had apparent minor injuries.

Devon Ognowski, 20, was arrested for Illegal Consumption of an Alcoholic Beverage and Battery.

David Wiseman, 36, received medical treatment at Goshen Hospital. He was also arrested for Resisting Law Enforcement, Battery, and Intimidation.

Both men were incarcerated at the Elkhart County Jail.
