The Wings Etc. Foundation will be hosting a volleyball tournament to help raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
It’s happening at the Wings Beach Club near Wings Etc. in Osceola on June 1. The Wings Beach Club has six lighted, regulation-size beach volleyball courts, an outdoor bar and patio and a large sandbox and play area, making it the perfect spot for the tournament.
Funds are raised through the $120 team entry fees, t-shirt sales, raffles and menu and drink specials, with a portion of select food and beverage sales going to St. Jude.
The Wings Etc. Foundation Events Committee has a goal of raising $5,500 between the June 1 tournament and the second tournament scheduled for August 17.
