(95.3 MNC)

If you’ve recently purchased Black Chia Seeds from Walmart, you may need to check your packaging.

National Sourcing International has issued a voluntary recall of one lot of 32 ounce Great Value Organic Black Chia Seeds due to a possible Salmonella contamination.

The products had been sent to Walmart for distribution nationwide, meaning you could have contaminated products in your pantry.

The recalled product’s packaging would show a lot code number of 24095 C018 and would have an expiration date of October 30, 2026.

Consumers should throw away products subject to the recall, and Natural Sourcing International says they will provide replacement products upon proof of purchase.
