The Humane Society of St. Joseph County reports urgent need of both canned dog and cat food, in order to help ensure that all animals are properly fed and cared for.

Specifically, they need ground dog food and pate style cat food, according to their plea on Facebook, where they have a link to a shopping list on Amazon.

They’re also asking for any potential foster families to help give shelter to the many dogs and cats they’ve recently received.
