A massive solar project is now on hold in LaPorte County.
Commissioners there voted 7-to-2 on Tuesday to “press pause” on a solar farm that is likely to be built on roughly 25-hundred acres of land near Potato Creek.
It’s due to be the largest solar farm in the state if Hexagon Energy ever gets final approval to be built. But, many residents who live near where it’s said to be built are pushing back for fear the site my devalue their property among other concerns.
Commissioners say the moratorium is meant to give the public more time to give their input on the project.

These large solar farms are a waste of money and land.

They also leech toxic chemicals into the ground, forever ruining the land as farmland.

They will go ahead and do as they please, after giving the community time to vent. They always do as they wish with our money.
