Suspected arrested in connection to triple shooting at Miami Hills Apartments

A suspect has been arrested in connection with a shooting that wounded three people at a South Bend apartment complex.

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 4, South Bend Police were called to Miami Hills Apartments in the 3400 block of High Street on the report of a shooting.

Three victims were transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Through an investigation by the South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit, 26-year-old Jarod Pigee was identified as a suspect.

On Wednesday, June 5, Pigee was arrested on several preliminary charges related to the shooting. He was taken to the St. Joseph County Jail, where he awaits a formal charges from the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office.
