Two people hurt in crash into Elkhart Airport concrete barriers

A driver and a passenger were hurt in a one-vehicle crash when a car ran into concrete barriers owned by the Elkhart City Airport.

The collision happened just after 12 a.m. on Thursday, June 6, on County Road 5 north of Airport Road when the 28-year-old man driving a Toyota Corolla hit the barriers so hard, some of them were destroyed.

Both people in the car suffered leg injuries.
