Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark was not named to this year’s USA Women’s Basketball Olympic basketball squad for this summer, but her teammate and last year’s WNBA Rookie of the Year Aliyah Boston was named as an alternate.

That final roster for Paris includes veterans such as A’ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, and Diana Taurasi for a 6th Olympics , but notably lacks Caitlyn Clark, who has been a standout and a significant draw for the WNBA in her rookie year.

Friday night, Clark had 30 points including 7 three-pointers as the Fever beat the Washington Mystics for their 3rd win this season in front of over 20,000 in our nations capital…Aliyah Boston chipped in with 10 points, six rebounds and three assists.
