Larwill woman killed in crash on U.S. 30 in Kosciusko County

A 26-year-old woman is dead after a crash on U.S. 30.

When first responders arrived at the scene, Tuesday morning, officers say they found a car and a semi pulling a trailer had crashed.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office says Avery Hill, 21,was driving southbound crossing U.S. 30 when she pulled out in front of the semi that was headed eastbound on U.S. 30.

Hill was not seriously injured in the crash.

Her front seat passenger was airlifted for treatment and a second passenger, Magdalynn Wood, 26, of Larwill, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The semi driver was not hurt.

The crash remains under investigation.
