An investigation is underway after human remains were found in a culvert.

Goshen Police were called to the 3200 block of Elkhart Road around 12:15 Wednesday afternoon.

The Elkhart County Homicide Unit was called in to investigate and is working to identify the body, but an autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
