A man was killed in a motorcycle crash Wednesday night in St. Joseph County.

It happened around 6:30 pm when police were called to State Road 2 and Chapel Lane for a collision involving a motorcycle and a semi.

The rider of the bike, 29 year-old Tyler Lee Smith of Baroda, died of his injuries.

No other injuries were reported and the FACT team is investigating the crash.
