Calling all bikers: The South Bend Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #36’s “Nick Polizzotto Scholarship Ride” is set for Saturday, August 17th.

The ride begins at the South Bend Police Department and ends at FOP Lodge #36, where a corn roast will take place.

Registration includes food, plus admission to the corn roast, as well as a t-shirt.

Polizzotto was shot and killed while on duty in April 2007.

He was a Corporal and served with South Bend Police for nine years.
