State Police investigating deadly crash on Toll Road

(Jon Zimney/95.3 MNC)
State Police are investigating after an Illinois man was killed in a crash on the Indiana Toll Road early Thursday morning.
Officers say two vehicles collided near mile-marker 8.3.
At this time, they believe a car crashed into the center concrete barrier and eventually stopped moving in the westbound passing lane.
Its driver then apparently got out of the car. As he was standing there, police think a westbound SUV hit his car, and he died at the scene.
The SUV driver was taken to the hospital and later released.
