One suspect was taken into custody on Monday after a stabbing on Lawndale Avenue that left one man dead.

Police say the suspect was located in LaPorte County shortly after the stabbing, but he led officers on a pursuit which ended in St. Joseph County.

The investigation is still ongoing.
