Former Niles area resident faces jail time for child molestation

A former Niles area resident was sentenced to jail and probation for molesting two young children.

65-year-old Calvin Clark, who now lives in Ohio, pleaded no contest to two counts of attempted second-degree criminal sexual conduct against victims age 13 or younger.

According to Leader Publications, that landed him five years probation, a year in jail with credit for 138 days served, over $1,100 in fines and costs and a spot on the sex offender registry.

Reports say the incident happened in April of last year in Milton Township against two children ages nine and 10 years.
