Seitz Park nears completion after multiple delays

Seitz Park is finally near completion after years behind schedule and millions over budget. South Bend Public Works Director Eric Horvath says it will be worth the wait despite the delays.
Renovations took over four years due to two big projects: Notre Dame’s installation of hydroelectric turbines under the park and then the park’s reconstruction.
Construction couldn’t start until the turbines were in place, and COVID added another year to the delay.
