Goshen man dies in high-speed crash; Suspect arrested on multiple charges

A Goshen man has died following a high-speed collision on U.S. 33 on Saturday, Sep. 21. The crash occurred when the Nissan Rogue in which Justin Yoder, 37, was a front-seat passenger was allegedly struck by a Mercedes driven by Ethan Aza, 23, of Cromwell.

Yoder died due to his injuries at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

Aza was arrested on Thursday after a completed investigation was turned over to the Noble County Prosecutor’s Office. Following the review, an arrest warrant was issued, and state troopers apprehended Aza at his Cromwell home. He was taken into custody without incident and booked into Noble County Jail, held without bond.

Operating While Intoxicated Causing Death
OWI Causing Serious Bodily Injury
Resisting Law Enforcement with a Vehicle Causing Serious Injury
Two counts of Resisting Law Enforcement Causing Bodily Injury
Operating a Vehicle Without a License

The investigation into the fatal crash continues as Aza awaits trial.
