Indiana Task Force 1 is relocating from Florida to Georgia.
The 80-person team was activated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency last Tuesday and sent to Florida the same day.
They arrived in Florida just before Hurricane Helene made landfall and have been supporting residents and governments since then. In a series of tweets, the task force shared that their initial assignment was in the panhandle, specifically in Suwanee County.
If you’d like to donate to the American Red Cross to help the victims of Hurricane Helene, text RELIEF to 4-5-3-6-4.
