A man charged with a 2002 murder has pleaded guilty to a related robbery.
51-year-old Marcus Love was arrested for the death of Robert Reed, whose body was found with severe head and neck injuries.
The case remained unsolved until a witness came forward, claiming Love admitted to the murder. Investigators also matched Love’s DNA to blood found at the scene.
Love denied the murder, and he denied being at Reed’s home, though he later admitted that he frequently visited the home to use drugs.
The Goshen News says Love pleaded guilty to Robbery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury. His sentencing is set for November 14.
