St. Joseph County Department of Health to unveil Narcan boxes in county

The St. Joseph County Department of Health is unveiling new Narcan boxes at nearly two dozen locations in the county.

Over the coming weeks, the medication will be placed at the locations, offering lifesaving medication that can reverse opioid overdoses rapidly.

So far in October there have been dozens of opioid overdoses in the country, but many lives have been saved because of the medication being administered.

How much per box? How much per dose? How many repeat doses for frequent flyers?

At some point, we need to realize that suicide by drugs is inevitable when that’s the choice that’s been made.
