President-elect Trump has indicated several times that he plans to carry out “mass deportations” of people in the United States illegally. He said the focus of the initiative would be on people who are known criminals.
“21 million people, including 13,099 murderers, drug dealers, gang members, who are coming into our country, those people will be taken out immediately,” Trump said on KFI Radio in Los Angeles back in October.
The president-elect has said this may include calling on the National Guard and local law enforcement to help carry out these deportations.
The Indiana National Guard will be ready to follow Trump orders if called upon. That’s according to Adj. Gen. Dale Lyles, who said this week that while the National Guard is trained and prepared for such operations.
Lyles is with Gov. Eric Holcomb on an economic development trip in the Middle East.
“The Indiana National Guard, first and foremost, works for the governor, and so we answer to the governor, but we also have a dual mission, a federal mission,” Lyles said in a video conference with reporters from Kuwait. “The executive branch that we would potentially work for is something that we would just have to stand by and see where that mission comes from.”

Holcomb is to wish washy. He will never authorize it. However, he will be gone when this is enacted. I hope Braun has the b@lls to do it.
Goshen’s gonna be a ghost town…
Braun is two faced, don’t trust him at all …
Let’s see first and foremost if you want to continue to see your sons and daughters murdered and taped by these animals which have entered our country illegally, they never filled out the proper paper work not that I’m aware of , so if you want to continue to see your husband , wife’s, sons and daughters murdered assaulted x taped then let them stay .
Who’s going to pay for all this?
Goshen going to be a ghost town??? So I’m guessing the money that would have been spent by these people deported will not effect the Goshen or state economy. The taxes not collected from deported individuals will not be a weight on Goshens economy or government. Now multiply that by tens of thousands cities and municipalities throughout USA! Good plan, folks…good plan.
What about all the Amish and the homeless folk??
oh the ignorance… so have the “illegals” or non-citizens make a choice of becoming a citizen or being deported. maybe even charge a fee to do so. but don’t just kick people out, when most of them have probably already started a family/ life here. they came here (to America… “the great”) for a better life or for better opportunities … can you blame them for coming at any cost necessary? my grand father was 100% german, he became a citizen. was a great man. i have an ex that is Russian and has had some drug related offenses that could cause him to be deported, but he’s been in the states for more than half v his life and wouldn’t have anyone in his home country if he were deported. that too me is wrong. give him a chance to become a citizen… a drug offense should not be ground for deportation in my opinion.. i think this should be rethought. and you ignorant people should just keep quiet…
