Michigan officials certify 2024 election results

(Public Domain)

Michigan’s Elections Board certified the results of the 2024 election on Friday with a unanimous vote.

The vote was very different from the one that followed in 2020, when Republicans loyal to Donald Trump made an effort to delay the certification of the state’s results.

The Michigan Board of State Canvassers, a panel of two Democrats and two Republicans, certified an 80,156-vote victory by President-Elect Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris in the Great Lakes State. The board also commended state election officials for a well-run election. soq
