The Michigan State Police had to shut down both directions of I-94 are shutdown near Hartford in Van Buren Count) due to multi-vehicle crash. About 14 passenger vehicles and three semi-trucks were involved in the wreckage. One driver suffered critical injuries. More than a dozen slide-off collisions also occurred. Police say driving too fast for the weather conditions were factors in the crashes.
