The thirteenth annual Bears in the Air program has landed at South Bend International Airport.

Community stakeholders donated the first bears to the program, which will soon be delivered to children in area hospitals.

The kickoff party will be on Friday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m. The event is $35 for admission and is for those 21 and older.
