Police in Ligonier seeking the public’s help regarding a robbery.

Police were called to the heist around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, at Ligonier Liquors.

The suspects were gone when police got their but officers were able to locate the possible vehicle as described by witnesses and conducted a traffic stop on it moments later.

Three suspects were in custody a few minutes later.

During the investigation, Ligonier police located several thousand dollars of stolen merchandise in the vehicle matching items from several other retail robberies in surrounding communities.

But investigators are asking for additional information about the possible theft ring and are working with other police agencies.
